Spa and Beauty Center Design in a Luxury Hotel on the Costa Brava
An interior design project featuring massage rooms, a hair salon and wellness spaces
The project transforms a space located in the basement of a luxury hotel on the Costa Brava into an area dedicated to wellbeing and personal care. The program is organized around a hair salon and three massage rooms, two of which can be combined through a sliding acoustic partition, allowing treatments for couples.
Each room includes a private shower and changing area, designed to accompany the ritual of the massage both before and after the treatment. The presence of tropical vegetation and textured translucent glass creates green backdrops and an intimate atmosphere where light is softly filtered.
The architecture is defined through curved partitions and fluid pathways that guide visitors from the reception —a monolithic piece of natural stone— into the heart of the beauty center. A curved passage with indirect lighting accompanies this journey and prepares the experience.
The material palette combines wood, natural stone and warm lighting, creating a serene and enveloping atmosphere.
An architecture designed to slow down: soft light, warm materials and quiet spaces.
A place where the body relaxes and touch becomes the true language of the space.
